God Hears and Answers

Who am I to think that God Almighty, the creator of the heavens, universe, and all that is would have any interest in hearing and answering the prayers of an individual such as myself. Like many, I am far from the ideal man that I deeply desire to be. However, I refuse to allow that to become the paradigm through which I communicate and fellowship with my Heavenly Father. Instead,

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philipians 3:14)

Consequently, in-spite of myself, I pray from a stance of confidence.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)

Family of God, here in the USA, we are in a time of need, and our fight to remain,

"One Nation under God with Liberty and Justice for All" (excerpt from "The Pledge of Allegiance")
has never been more real.

It is Spiritual Warfare

We must remain cognizant however, that our fight is not within the physical realm of flesh and blood.

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" (Ephesians 6:10-18)

Our God Is Able

Remember this also my brothers and sisters in Christ. Our God is almighty, able, and willing to answer our prayers and bless us in ways that far exceed our wildest imaginations.

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen." (Ephesians 3:20,21)
